The Bose® 251 (White) outdoor expansion package delivers music from your Lifestyle® V35, V25 & 235 systems to the pool, on the deck or around your yard. Your speakers are powered by an easily concealed SA-3 stereo amplifier that connects to your Lifestyle® system. Your system and the components attached to it are easily controlled outdoors with the RC-35S2 remote. This lets you select any device set up to work with your Lifestyle® system and adjust its audio playback wherever you're listening.
The 251 environmental speakers use an Articulated Array® speaker design to produce an extremely wide sound field. Each outside speaker cabinet houses two drivers set at precise angles so you experience consistent stereo effects as you move around outdoors. And the unique multi-chambered design of the speaker cabinet minimizes audible distortion from low frequencies, for sound with clear, natural impact.
More than elegant, these speakers are also durable enough to withstand weather extremes. They're engineered and tested to withstand snow, rain, salt and temperature extremes of 140° F to -22° F. They are also protected by a five-year limited warranty.
