I have to say that we got this system to take it with us for traveling (long travels, beach, etc..) and its very bulky, not handy and very heavy. It does not have radio (very important for me too). It wont work on batteries. But. If you want it for your bedroom, office or living permanently I have to say that it gives a very nice sharp and loud sound. the dising and color is very harsh. So it may not fit in to you decoration hahaha...

This Kicker is just as others have described. "WOW, WHAT A SOUND"!!!! This little box really booms and the clarity is crystal clear when the volume is at its max of 40. Well worth the money and will blow all others away. Totally worth the $175 spent!!!!!!

I've tried a lot of ipod speakers, and theres just nothing that compares to the Kicker Ikick! Compatible with I-phone, very easy to use and lastly, has the best sound quality of an ipod speaker. Can handle heavy bass! Want the best out there... go Kicker!

I ordered it based on the review. After I opened the box, I was very disappointed because it looks much uglier than its picture. If the sound quality is very import to you, this is probably the best docking station out there. Unfortunately, I had to return it because I couldn't stand its awful look. Later on, I discovered Philips Fidelio DS8500, which has a slick look and delivers outstanding sound as well. I have it for a while now and love it a lot and just bought another one for my parents.

I bought this after my Bose sound dock no longer worked with my iphone. I was very reluctant because I loved my sounddock, but didn't want to pay the price for another. I saw a few reviews that said this unit was better, that was impossible for me to imagine, but no after owning it for a couple of months I completely agree!! You won't regret this purchase.
